Nice shadow maps, studiostortuga.

Is it just another texture layer in Cipher shader?

studiostortuga 31st August, 2005 18:30

DO you have improvement on the models?

studiostortuga 3rd September, 2005 10:09
I cannot improve the model format.
However we have modify the animation system, we create several mdl files with one animation int that one (walk.mdl,run.mdl,shoot.mdl...) and we blend animation in distinct files, we not mix frames of the same mdl file, we mix frames of distinct mdl files.

for do this we add a new field in the AnimBlend_t struct we called anim, and its a handle of the model that contain the animation

This features improve the workflow of the animators, later, when we make a new animation, we need to generate a new big file with all animations, now, if we add a new animation, we put this file in the directory..

Salut

PD:Sorry im spanish.
