On the Roadmap page the following is stated:

Here is the list of the new features for Cipher2.0 ( so far ) and a approximately date for the release .

Yet there is no approximate date of release anywhere on the page.

Hi,

There was release dates but I removed them from the pages, for I toughed that I could do all the new features just like that, no it takes a little more time that I realized.

Everybody should just realize that this engine is dead. It has been dead for some time before, but the old developer at least told everybody that there will be no more updates.
The new maintainer just managed to re-enable the payment functions to sell licenses, then nothing more than a few roadmap updates. No development for years, no new releases, nothing...
I bought the engine when it was still "hot" and had some fun with it. So the 100 bucks where not wasted. But these days everybody should just use something like Ogre or Irrlicht, which are both more powerful than this engine and cost less (free)...
